Throwback Thursday: 2022 Outsider Art Fair

With just over two weeks until the 31st annual Outsider Art Fair in New York City, what better time than ever to look back at some of the highlights from last year’s event?

From now until this year’s event, which I am eagerly awaiting, I will be highlighting some of the best sights and sounds from my first-ever Outsider Art Fair. Between the countless Bill Traylor works, the beautifully vibrant William Hawkins works, and meeting numerous kind and brilliant lovers of outsider art — hey friends at SAGE Studio and Hana Pietri Gallery — this year’s event has a lot to live up to, yet, I don’t think that should be a problem at all.

This week I look back at works by Ionel Talpazan, Clementine Hunter, Lee Godie, and more as I look forward to this year’s event highlighting what is sure to be another unforgettable experience.
