Slotin Folk Art auction house, who regularly has some of the best auctions for folk, outsider, and self-taught artwork wrapped up day one of their August auction. Chalked full of some brilliant and beautiful works from the likes of Mose Tolliver, Jimmy Lee Sudduth, Purvis Young, Malcah Zeldis, Sybil Gibson and many more — there were a few artists that aren’t household names that really stuck out to me.
Here’s a few that caught my eye today:
