Enjoy a documentary short on Jim Bishop, who at age 15 bought 2.5 acres of land in Southern Colorado and over the course of fifty years has built one of the most intricate and incredible art environments in the world, Bishop Castle.
Jim Bishop has dedicated his entire life to building the world’s largest one man project: a 160 foot tall stone castle. Although his creation will last an eternity, Jim must battle coming to terms that his body will not.

Co-Directors Thomas McDonald and Tristan Owen are BFA Filmmakers from The College of Motion Picture Arts at Florida State University. For their 2021 Spring Semester, the pair were challenged to create a 13 minute long documentary on any subject located in the continental United States.
