JORDAN is a self-taught artist born in Houston, Texas, and raised in rural Ohio and suburban Detroit. In addition to making art, he has worked as a drug and alcohol counselor at rehabs for adolescents and adults. He currently lives in Queens, New York and in 2025, Jordan made his debut at the 2025 Outsider Art Fair.
I’ve always been drawn to that underbelly. I’ve lived in that underbelly. Most people in this world are outsiders and that’s really what I’m drawn to – risked lives, lives on the edge.

About the FolkArtwork Collective

It brings me great pleasure to introduce the FolkArtwork Collective — a phenomenal group of self-taught and contemporary emerging artists from across the globe.
