Three Peacocks (date unknown) // Pencil and multicolored pens

via Outside In

This piece depicts peacocks and trees surrounded by a snake with flowers in each corner; animals and plants from the natural world that have personal importance to James, and have often become recurring symbols in his work. The drawing is made in pencil and coloured with bright, multicoloured pens.
