Editors Note:

It has been one year since I, Adam Oestreich, owner and operator of the folkartwork Instagram account, launched the “This Week in Outsider Art” newsletter and it has been a big hit. Due to the growth and excitement of the newsletter and my hopes and dreams to provide you as much brilliant self-taught, folk, and outsider art as humanly possible, it only makes sense to move to Substack.

Ugh, I have to pay money now? Nope. Never. Not if you do not want. The original newsletter you have received every week will continue as is in its current form, free of charge from now until eternity.

That said, and there’s always a that said, there is now a paid option where you can receive bonus content, additional chat features, and more opportunities to engage with this world of art we love. If this is something that interests you, I will always do my best to make it worth your wild, and I would appreciate it dearly.

Thank you all for your support and passion and I look forward to another year of “This Week in Outsider Art”.
